I've been on Tivicay for about three months now, and while I'm grateful for the viral suppression, I've been experiencing some side effects that I'm not sure about. I started getting mouth sores too, but they went away after a few weeks. Might want to stick it out a bit longer and see if they clear up.
I've heard of people getting rash and stomach pain but mouth sores are new to me. Maybe a side effect or maybe not. I'd consult with your physician before deciding to skip any meds.
If your doctor isn't taking your side effects seriously, it might be worth getting a second opinion. HIV treatment is a big deal, and you should feel comfortable and safe.
I've been on Tivicay for over a year and never had anything like that. Maybe you should talk to your doctor again?
