Anyone else experiencing severe side effects with Pramipexole 0.75mg Tablets for Parkinson's?
I was recently prescribed Pramipexole 0.75mg Tablets to help manage my Parkinson's symptoms. While it has helped with tremors and stiffness, I've been experiencing some alarming side effects. I've noticed strong urges to gamble and spend money, which is really concerning. I've also had episodes of sudden, uncontrollable sleepiness. My doctor mentioned that these could be side effects, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues. How have you managed these side effects, and what tips do you have for coping? Additionally, has anyone experienced a sudden onset of changes in posture? I've been bending forward at the waist more frequently, and it's affecting my mobility. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, what does everyone think about the fact that some of the side effects can be really severe, like hallucinations? I'm just trying to figure out how to cope with this medication.

Have you noticed any changes in your personality or behavior since starting the medication? I've heard that it can sometimes cause mood swings or changes in behavior. Definitely talk to your doctor about it.
I'm really sorry to hear about the severe side effects you're experiencing. It sounds like you need a change in medication. For anyone who doesn't know, there are many alternatives for Parkinson's that are better tolerated by different people. It's really unfortunate how these medications can have such different effects on the person.
Hang in there! It can be tough to find the right medication and dose, but with the right adjustments, you should be able to manage your symptoms without the severe side effects. Have you asked your doctor for a second opinion or explored alternative treatments?
I've been on this medication for a while, and I haven't had any issues with it. Maybe it's just a matter of finding the right dose for you. Stick with it and work with your doctor to figure out what's best for you.
