Anyone else feel like they have to take Elavil 100mg tablets for life? It's helping, but the side effects are rough.
I've been on Elavil 100mg tablets for a few months now, and while it's definitely helped with my nerve pain, the side effects are brutal. I'm constantly dealing with dizziness, dry mouth, and some really weird dreams. I know these are common side effects, but it's getting tough to deal with. Has anyone else had a similar experience? How did you cope? Or did you find a different medication that worked better? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ugh, the dreams are the worst. I had one where I was being chased by a herd of elephants the other night. Totally normal though, right?
Not sure what I'd do without this medication. It's a trade-off, but for me, the relief from nerve pain is worth it.
I feel ya! The dry mouth is the worst. I started using a humidifier at night and chewed sugar-free gum during the day. It helped a lot. Also, make sure to stay hydrated.
Y'all are making me feel better. I've only been on it for a couple of weeks, but I was starting to think I couldn't handle the side effects. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
