I recently started using Sodium Chloride 10% Nebulizer Solution to help with chronic bronchitis. The idea of breathing in a salty solution seemed a bit strange at first, but my doctor assured me it would help thin the mucus in my lungs. So far, I've noticed a significant improvement in my ability to cough up and clear my breathing passages. However, I'm curious to hear from others who have used this. How has it worked for you? Have you experienced any side effects, serious or otherwise? I'm particularly interested in hearing about any long-term effects or tips for making the treatment more comfortable.

I think it's worth it for the relief. Just make sure you follow all the instructions and talk to your doctor about any concerns. It's helped me a lot!

I'm more worried about the long-term effects. I mean, breathing in a 10% salt solution every day—the lungs aren't meant to handle that much salt, right? Thoughts?

It's a bit pricey, but if you have insurance, it might cover it. I got mine through my pharmacy and it works well, though I don't like the taste.

I tried it, but honestly, the taste and the process of breathing in the salty solution was too much for me. I couldn't stick with it. Anyone else find it difficult to handle?

I had a pretty bad allergic reaction the first time I tried this. Rashes and swelling, couldn't breathe right for a few minutes. Scary stuff. Definitely talk to your doctor if you have any issues.

The best tip I got from my doctor was to use a saline rinse before and after. Always helps!

The nebulizer is so loud! It's like having a tiny jet engine in your room every night. But the relief from mucus is worth it. Anyone else have tips for handling the noise?

Just remember, this stuff can get serious. If you have any tightness in your chest or throat, get to a doctor immediately. Not worth the risk!

I wish I had a quieter machine, the noise really bothers me. But it's the best relief I’ve had in YEARS

I've been using this for a while now and it's been a game-changer for me. I used to struggle with chest tightness, but it has significantly improved. No serious side effects here, just a bit of discomfort at first.
