I've been using Lidocaine/Prilocaine 5% Cream for a while now, and while it does the job of numbing the skin, I've had some weird side effects and reactions I wasn't prepared for. I've been trying to find out if anyone else has any issues with this stuff, I've had everything from serious allergic reactions on my skin to some other issues. I've been thinking about switching, but I'm not sure what else to use. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Any recommendations for alternatives? I've tried looking up the side effects, but there's not a lot of information out there. Maybe someone here has some insight or experience to share?

I've used Lidocaine/Prilocaine for laser treatments and it worked well for me. I didn't have any side effects, but I made sure to do a patch test first to check for any allergic reactions.

I've had really good results with Lidocaine/Prilocaine. I use it for laser hair removal. I make sure to wash off any residue after the treatment to avoid any irritation. I also had some slight itching at the application site after a treatment, but it went away quickly. I just used some hydrocortisone cream to soothe the skin.

I've never had any issues with Lidocaine/Prilocaine. I use it for laser hair removal and it works great for me. It numbs the skin really well and I don't have any pain during the procedure. It's definitely worth trying if you're having pain with other treatments.

I had a really bad allergy reaction to the cream, my skin got all itchy and red, it was uncomfortable and itching for almost a week, I did not have that much luck, I also got some shortness of breath and really bad dizziness.

I've never had issues with Lidocaine/Prilocaine, but I've heard that some people have had seizures from using it. I've been using the cream for years and I've never had a problem, but I've always recommended to others to do allergy testing first. I've had some slight itching at the application site after a treatment, but it went away quickly. I just used some hydrocortisone cream to soothe the skin. Plus, I avoid having it on my skin for too long.
