I've been struggling with recurring yeast infections and my doctor prescribed Clotrimazole 2% 3 Day Vaginal Cream. Has anyone else used this and had good results? I'm a bit nervous about side effects, especially the more severe ones. I know it's rare, but it's always in the back of my mind. How long does it usually take to see improvement? Does anyone have tips on how to make the application process more comfortable? I'm hoping to hear from those who've had good success with this treatment and any advice from those with similar experiences.

I personally prefer the single-dose treatment. Less hassle and just as effective.

I've used this a few times. The biggest issue I had was that it dried up my vagina. It might be a bit different for everyone, but if you're sensitive to this kind of problem, you might consider vagisil or other non prescription creams before using the clotrimazole.

Be careful with this one. I had a bad reaction to it—burning sensation and swelling. Had to stop using it and switch to something else. Make sure to monitor for any signs of an allergic reaction. I'm assuming you didn't have any complications besides the irritation. It's definitely not common.

Always remember to finish the full course of treatment, even if you feel better. Yeast infections can be tricky and may come back if not fully treated.

Just started using this and I'm already feeling some relief. Does anyone know if it's safe to use while pregnant? I'm not, but a friend of mine is and she's curious.

I think all of my yeast infections and urination problems are related. I'm currently on this treatment and holding off on other meds, but I will let you all know how it goes.

I had no issues with side effects, but I did notice some light spotting. Is that normal? I'm not sure if it's related to the cream or something else.

Make sure to apply it at night before bed. It can be a bit messy, but it's much more comfortable to sleep through the treatment.

This stuff is a lifesaver. I had a yeast infection that just wouldn't go away, and my doctor prescribed this. It cleared up in no time. The only downside is the irritation at the site of application but it goes away quickly.
