Anyone else have trouble finding relief from eczema with Hydrocortisone 1% Cream?
I've been dealing with eczema for a while now. and my doctor recently prescribed Hydrocortisone 1% Cream. I've been using it for a few days, but I'm not seeing much improvement. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Are there other things I can do to help with the itching and redness? I'm also worried about the potential side effects, especially the risk of skin thinning. Has anyone had any issues like that?

Be careful with steroids. They can be really helpful, but long-term use can cause problems. Always best to check with a dermatologist.
Can anyone recommend a good moisturizer to use with this? My skin feels really dry.
I had a similar issue. Turns out I was allergic to one of the inactive ingredients. Might want to check that out with your doctor.
I use hydrocortisone all the time for my daughters skin and have had great results. But I have to agree that it doesn't do much for me personally.
I didn't see much improvement until I started using it with a moisturiser. Might want to give that a try.
I've had great success with hydrocortisone. Give it a bit more time, and make sure you're applying it consistently. Also, keep your skin moisturized – that's key.
