Anyone else have trouble with constipation after using Ferrex 150mg Capsules?
I just started taking Ferrex 150mg Capsules after being diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia. I was looking forward to less stomach upset than other iron pills, but I've had trouble constipation and now I'm having trouble going. I'm not the only one experiencing this, right? I just want to know if it's worth sticking to this medication despite the side effects. Thanks!

Constipation is common with iron supplements. Try increasing your water intake and exercise.
This is a nightmare, I'm considering talking to my doctor about changing medications.
I switched to a liquid iron supplement and it's been way better for me.
If it gets really severe, you can always try a different brand or type of iron supplement.
Maybe try taking it with some prune juice to help with the constipation.
Have you tried taking it with food? It helped me with the upset stomach.
I've heard that eating yogurt can help with the constipation side effect.
I had the same issue at first, but it went away after a week. I'd give it more time.
