I've been prescribed Glycopyrrolate 0.2mg/ml Inj, 5ml for an upcoming procedure. It's supposed to help with secretions and such during anesthesia, but I'm a bit worried about the side effects I've been reading about. I've never taken anything like this before. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? What kind of side effects did you have, if any? I'm particularly concerned about the more serious ones, like not sweating and trouble passing urine. My doctor didn't really go into detail about them and it seems like they could be pretty bad. Any advice or info would be appreciated!

I've never had this before. Just make sure to tell the doctors and nurses how you're feeling, and if something isn't right, make sure to say something. I know when I went through surgery I didn't really say anything when I was having issues, so just speak up

I had to take this before my colonoscopy. The worst part was that my mouth was so dry I could barely talk. It was like being in the middle of the Sahara

I had no issues with it at all. The procedure was scary but the stuff they gave me beforehand was fine. Just make sure to tell them if you have any issues though, because that's the best way to get help

I've had this before and it wasn't bad at all. Just a bit of a headache and some dizziness. The worst part was that weird taste in my mouth for a few hours. But nothing Major

I had Glycopyrrolate for my surgery last year. I only had a dry mouth but it was pretty bad for a couple days. Definitely keep hydrated
