I've been prescribed Metaxalone 400mg Tablets for muscle spasms, and while they do help, I've been experiencing some side effects like dizziness and drowsiness. Has anyone else had this experience? Are there any tips for managing these side effects? Also, I'm curious to know if anyone has experienced any of the more serious side effects listed in the drug information.

I’ve been using it for a week and haven’t had any major issues. Just a bit of drowsiness, but nothing severe. Taking it before bed has helped me out a lot. No allergic reactions, thankfully. I think it’s worth the trade-off for the relief it provides. Just be cautious and listen to your body.

So, I was looking into Metaxalone for some lower-back pain, but all the side effects make me want to stay away. Has anyone found anything else that works as well without the risk?

I took Metaxalone for a few days and felt fine, but then I started getting some weird chest tightness. I talked to my doctor, and we decided to stop it ASAP. Scared the crap out of me, honestly. Seeing other's side effects makes me glad I'm not the only one who felt this way — but it also makes me thankful to be safe.

I've been on Metaxalone for a few weeks now, and while it helps with the muscle spasms, I've definitely felt more drowsy. I've started taking it before bed to see if that helps, and it seems to work better. It's a bit of a bummer because it makes me feel tired, but I'd rather deal with that than the muscle pain. Anyone else dealing with the same issue?

I've experienced headaches and felt a bit jittery, but it's manageable. I've been walking at least 30 minutes a day. I've read a little about the more serious side effects. If you start feeling any of those, definitely get to a doctor ASAP.

I took Metaxalone once and had a weird reaction. I felt like I was floating, and it was pretty scary. I didn't want to risk it again. I spoke to my doctor, and he suggested trying a different muscle relaxant. I've been using a low dose of cyclobenzaprine and have had better results.
