Anyone else on Armodafinil 50mg for narcolepsy? What's your experience been like?

I've looked at the side effects list a bunch of times, and I get a bit nervous about some of the more serious ones. But I think it's important to remember that these are rare, and most people don’t have these problems. I’ve been trying to stay calm and just monitor myself closely.

I hear you on the headaches. I've had them pretty consistently, but they usually go away after a few hours. I’ve also had a few episodes of feeling really anxious for no reason. Anybody else dealt with that?

If it’s not a substitute for sleep, how do you avoid becoming dependent on it? I’m curious about the long-term effects of using Armodafinil for people with narcolepsy. Has anyone experienced any changes in their sleep patterns over time or felt like they needed to increase their dosage?

I was really worried about side effects when I started, but I've only had minor ones. I get a dry mouth, and sometimes I feel a bit jittery, but it’s manageable.
