Anyone else on Carbamazepine 200mg ER Capsules? How's it working for you?
I was recently prescribed Carbamazepine 200mg ER Capsules for trigeminal neuralgia and I'm curious to hear from others who are taking the same medication. The doctor assured me it would help with the nerve pain, but I'm still a bit apprehensive about the side effects. Has anyone else experienced any serious side effects? I'm particularly worried about the ones that might affect my daily life, like trouble walking or changes in eyesight. I also noticed that some people experience low sodium levels. I'm going to monitor mine for headaches or seizures. If anyone has any tips or advice on how to manage these risks, I'd really appreciate it!

Has anyone else noticed changes in your vision? I've been feeling a bit off lately and I'm not sure if it's the meds or something else.
I've heard that combining Carbamazepine with oral contraceptive pills isn't a good idea. Anyone else know anything about this?
Just started a week ago and I feel like I'm high all the time. Is this normal?
I switched to the ER version from the regular and it has been a lot easier to manage. No more daily doses, just twice a day.
I had a bad reaction to this drug. I developed a rash and had to stop taking it immediately. If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction, don't wait—get medical help right away. It's not worth the risk.
