Anyone else on Junel 1/20 having breakthrough bleeding?
I've been on Junel 1/20 for about 4 months now and have been experiencing some breakthrough bleeding. It's not too heavy, but it's enough to be annoying. I've also had some breast tenderness and occasional headaches. I'm not sure if these are normal side effects or if I should talk to my doctor. Has anyone else experienced this? What did your doctor say? Also curious about your experience with Junel 1/20 in general. Is it working well for you? Any other side effects I should be aware of? I want to make sure I'm doing this right, so any advice would be great!

Junel 1/20 worked great for me for a few years, but then I started getting really bad headaches. Had to switch to something else. Fingers crossed it's not the same for you!
I miss birth control days, so I guess I'll just deal with it. Breakthrough bleeding is a pain, but I'd rather deal with that than an unexpected pregnancy.
I had similar issues with my first prescription, but my Dr. recommended taking it in the morning. I'm not sure why it makes a difference, but it did! Hope that helps.
Ugh, I hate breakthrough bleeding. It's the worst. But yeah, talk to your doctor. Might need a different dosage or something.
Breakthrough bleeding can be common, but if it's happening consistently, it might be worth checking in with your doctor. Also, make sure you're taking it at the same time every day. Consistency is key with hormonal birth control.
