Be diligent with taking this medication. It really does help if you follow the instructions carefully. If you miss a dose or take it at the wrong time, it might not work as well.

I've been on Oral Citrate for about a year now. It's worked great for preventing kidney stones, but I did have some initial issues with an upset stomach. Drinking plenty of water and taking it with food helped a lot. No major side effects, though, which is a plus!

I've heard that some people experience diarrhea as a side effect. Have you tried adjusting your diet to see if it helps? For me, it was a learning curve on managing my diet because some foods really affected me. But I feel a lot better now than I did before I started the medication.
