I've been recently prescribed Rufinamide 400mg Tablets to help manage my Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome. I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this medication. How has it worked for you? Have you encountered any significant side effects, and if so, how did you manage them? I'm particularly interested in hearing about any rare or serious side effects and how you dealt with them. Also, any tips on coping with common side effects like dizziness or drowsiness would be really helpful!

It's crazy how different everyone's experience can be with the same medication. I never had any issues with Rufinamide, but a friend of mine had terrible tremors and had to switch to something else.

I felt like Rufinamide did wonders for my seizures, but the fatigue was unreal at first. I was basically sleeping 12 hours a day. I talked to my doctor, and we adjusted the dosage, which helped a lot. Just be patient and communicate with your healthcare provider.

I've experienced some allergic reactions with other meds, so I was really worried about that with Rufinamide. Luckily, I haven't had any issues so far. Just keep an eye out for rash or hives and you could be good.

I started on Rufinamide a few months ago, and while it's helped with the seizures, I've had some pretty bad headaches. It's been tough, but I'm glad it's controlling my seizures. Just make sure to stay hydrated and rest as much as you can.

One thing I noticed is that Rufinamide can make you really sensitive to light. I had to start wearing sunglasses indoors because the fluorescent lights were bothering me. Just a heads up!
