Anyone else on Sinequan (doxepin) 10mg/ml? How's it working for you? I'm on day 5, and feeling pretty drowsy. Does it get better?
I was prescribed Sinequan 10mg/ml Concentrate 120ml for my anxiety and insomnia. The doctor said it should help regulate my mood and sleep, but I've been feeling incredibly sleepy, especially in the afternoons, and I'm wondering if this is normal or if I should talk to my doctor about adjusting the dose. Has anyone else experienced this? How long did it take for the drowsiness to subside? I've also read about some serious side effects, so I'm a bit worried. Anyone have any insights or advice?

I was on Sinequan for a while, and yes, the drowsiness does get better after the first week or so. Stick with it, but if it's too much, talk to your doctor.
I had a weird reaction to it, like my mouth was constantly dry and I had this metallic taste. I had to switch. Just be aware of how it affects you.
I've been on it for a month, and I still feel pretty groggy. I'm going to talk to my doctor about it next week. Hang in there!
Be careful with this stuff. I had some pretty bad side effects, including weird skin reactions. If you notice anything like that, get to a doctor ASAP.
