I recently started Somavert 25mg Single Dose Inj for acromegaly. I feel like I've been experiencing more side effects than I anticipated. I know everyone is different, but I'd love to hear from anyone else who's been on this medication. I keep getting a rash around the injection site, which is pretty uncomfortable. How common is this and how long did it take for your body to get used to the medication? Also, curious about tips on managing any side effects that pop up.

I've gained a decent amount of weight on this medication. Like 50 lbs. I am interested in seeing if that's normal. Also, I don’t really feel like I'm working anymore, but I wake up feeling like I've been running a marathon all night. Anybody else feel like they can't get anything done anymore?
I had some initial liver issues (yellow skin and eyes) but they went away after a week or two. Probably just my body reacting to the new meds. If you're experiencing anything like that, I'd definitely see a doctor ASAP.
I haven't had many issues with Somavert, but I did experience some weird tingling sensations in my hands and feet. I just wonder if that's normal or not.
