I've been on Zestoretic for about 2 months now. I found it pretty helpful to lower my pressure. I had blood pressure of 170/115 before starting, and it's now much lower. However, I've also been experiencing some side effects like dizziness and a persistent cough. I know these can be common, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar issues? Also, I'm a bit concerned about the potential severe side effects, like allergic reactions or kidney problems. Has anyone experienced any of these, and what should I look out for? I know the benefits outweigh the risks, but does anyone have any tips to help mitigate the side effects?

I've been on Zestoretic for over a year. Sorry to hear about your side effects but voice of reason is, Talk to your doctor.

I had the same problem with my mom. You need to be diligent about those doctor's appointments. Go to them

I got dizzy and had to sit down and put my head between my knees and breathe. I assume this is the same for most people. I massively recommend doing that if you're affected

Be careful dude, I had some bad reactions to this stuff. I definitely recommend going to the doctor with any concerns

Don't worry much about the severe side effects, the chances of that happening are small. Just keep an eye on them, but some people are just so sensitive

I had a similar experience with the cough. My doctor said it was fairly common and could be managed

Has anyone experienced any vision changes or eye pain? I've heard that can be a serious side effect. Not sure what the signs are
