I've been on Yorvipath for a few months now to manage my chronic hypoparathyroidism, and while it's been helping with my calcium levels, I've been having some issues with the injection sites. Sometimes they get really red and irritated. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on how to minimize these reactions would be greatly appreciated. Also, I'm a bit concerned about the long-term risks mentioned, like bone cancer. Has anyone discussed this at length with their endocrinologist? I'd love to hear your experiences and any advice you might have.

I've been on Yorvipath for over a year and haven't had any major issues. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully and give your body time to adjust to the medication.

I had weird muscle cramps at first but then they went away after a few weeks.

You know, I think I remember reading that applying a warm compress to the injection site can help with the redness and irritation. Might be worth a try!

This is a serious drug, so you definitely should be discussing the long-term risks with your doctor. They might have some advice on how to mitigate these risks. Also, consider keeping a symptom diary so you can track if your side effects change over time.

Have you talked to your doctor about maybe switching to a different formulation or administering method? It might be worth asking.

I've had some dizziness and fatigue, but my doctor said it's pretty common in the beginning. It's been a while since I've had those issues.
