I've been prescribed Clobetasol Propionate 0.05% Solution for my severe eczema, and while it does seem to be helping with the itching and redness, I've been experiencing some side effects that are worrying me. I've heard it’s a very strong steroid, so I’m being careful and only using it as directed. Has anyone else had similar experiences? I'm also curious to know if it will work long-term or if I should expect to switch medications at some point. I'm finding the side effects such as burning and stinging quite unpleasant, and I'm wondering if there are any tips or tricks to mitigate these issues. Also, the risk of high blood sugar is concerning since it's not something I'd want to deal with. Does anyone else feel this way? I’d love to hear your experiences and advice.

I’ve had some issues with skin thinning, and my doctor warned me about the risk of high blood sugar. It’s a strong medication, and I have to monitor my diet and exercise routines very closely.

I've read that some people experience skin changes like stretch marks and thinning of the skin. That's scary stuff.

Clobetasol has been a game-changer for my psoriasis. I’ve used it for a short period as prescribed to prevent all those side effects. Totally worth it for the relief, but I’d definitely keep an eye on any potential long-term side effects.

I’ve had some issues with Cushing's syndrome symptoms but had to use this since it worked best for my psoriasis. I did get a referral to an endocrinologist who’s helping me manage it all. They told me to not worry if I gain some weight in the upper back or belly, keep monitoring it though.

I’ve been using Clobetasol for a while now, and I definitely experienced some of those side effects. I found that applying a small amount and not using it every day really helped. Plus, it’s best to not use for more than 2 weeks at a time.
