Anyone else taking Apresoline 50mg for high blood pressure? What's your experience?
I was recently prescribed Apresoline 50mg to help manage my hypertension. It's been a couple of weeks, and I'm trying to decide if the benefits outweigh the side effects. I've had some minor issues like headaches and an upset stomach, but nothing too severe. I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences or if there are any tips for managing the side effects better. Also, has anyone had any serious side effects like lupus or allergic reactions? I'm a bit worried about those. Thanks in advance for any insights!

I switched to Apresoline after other meds didn't work. Be careful, though, the dizziness can be pretty bad at first. I had to take it easy for a few days. Hang in there. If you need, ask your doc if they can slowly increase the dose.
I've found that taking Apresoline with food helps with the stomach issues. It's not perfect, but it's manageable.
I've been on Apresoline for a few months now. The headaches were tough at first, but they've subsided. Make sure to stay hydrated and eat regularly to combat the stomach issues. I didn't experience any of the serious side effects but will call my doc if I do. Hang in there!
Just started Apresoline and already feeling lightheaded. Is this normal?
I had a rough time with this one. The side effects were not fun, but my doctor helped me manage them. Stick with it, and hopefully, it will work better for you. If you need to report something, it is a good idea to keep a journal of symptoms and when they occur.
While I've had some minor issues, the biggest problem I had was the weird sensation of tingling in my hands and feet. I told my doctor, and it seems to have lessened with some tweaks to my dosage.
