I've recently been prescribed Colestipol 1gm Tablets to help lower my high cholesterol levels. The doctor explained that it works by binding to bile acids in the intestines, which helps the body remove more cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'm curious to hear about your journeys, any side effects you've encountered, and how it has impacted your overall health. Has it been effective in lowering your cholesterol levels? I'd love to know if there are any tips or tricks for managing any side effects. My doctor mentioned some possible side effects like constipation, diarrhea, and stomach pain, but I'm hoping to hear from real people about their experiences.

I've been on it for a while and it's helped a lot with my cholesterol, but I did have some issues with diarrhea. Make sure to stay hydrated and talk to your doctor if it gets too bad.

I've been taking it for a year now and it's been fine. Just make sure to follow your doctor's advice and report any unusual symptoms.

I've heard that taking it with food can help reduce some of the side effects. Might be worth a try!

I wish I could say it's been smooth sailing, but I've had some really bad stomach pain. Definitely not fun.

I had to stop taking it because of severe stomach cramps. It was unbearable. If you experience that, don't hesitate to call your doctor.
