I've been prescribed Clobetasol 0.05% Emollient Cream for my severe eczema. The doctor warned about some pretty serious side effects. Has anyone else tried this and what was your experience? I'm scared of all the side effects. I've had issues with skin getting really dry and red, so I'm not sure I'll go for it.
Be careful with this stuff, it's super strong. I used it for a week on my eczema and it cleared up, but the skin got really thin and irritated. I had to stop using it.
I've been using it for a few weeks and it's been a lifesaver for my psoriasis. I didn't experience any side effects but I did take extra care when applying it like my doctor said.
I'm not a fan of steroid creams. They work but the side effects can be harsh. Good luck with it, though!
I'd recommend talking to your doctor about all your concerns. There might be a safer alternative for you.
I have really bad eczema so I'm desperate to try it. I just hope the side effects won't be too bad. What did you all do when you had issues?
I read about this and it's crazy how many side effects there are. I'm sticking to more natural remedies.
I've used it on and off for a few months. It's amazing when it works, but I've had some pretty bad dryness and irritation on my face. I can't wait to be done with it but haven’t stopped yet.
