Anyone else use the Nitroglycerin 0.6 Mg/hr Patch for Angina? Share your experiences!
I was recently prescribed the Nitroglycerin 0.6 Mg/hr Patch to help prevent angina attacks. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and I'm curious to hear from others who have used it. How has it worked for you? What side effects have you experienced? I'm particularly interested in hearing about the common side effects like headaches and skin irritation, and how you managed them. Also, I've noticed that the patch can sometimes cause a bit of a burning sensation when I first apply it. Is that normal?
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. I know everyone's experience is different, but I think it would be helpful to hear from others who are going through the same thing. Thanks in advance!

I really hope this helps me with my angina, it's been so frustrating to deal with this chest pain. It's scary stuff, and I can't wait to know that it's under control.
Has anyone else experienced a weird, burning sensation when applying the patch? It breaks down pretty quickly but it's still a little uncomfortable.
I switched to the patch from the sublingual tablets, and honestly? The patch is way more convenient. I don't have to worry about taking it at the same time every day or carrying it with me all the time. The only downside is the skin irritation, but a little hydrocortisone cream helps a lot.
I think everyone should remember that the patch is for preventing angina, not treating it. I made that mistake once and it was not fun. Carry your sublingual nitro just in case.
I honestly thought the patch was a bit of a joke, but it's actually pretty effective. I just make sure to apply it at night so I don't have to worry about changing it during the day.
I'm new to this, and I have to say: I was really nervous about the side effects. I'm happy to report that it's been really mild for me. I get a little dizzy sometimes, but nothing unbearable. Just make sure to wear the patch on a flat surface, so it's not loose.
I think my doctor should have warned me about the flushing. I thought I was having a heart attack! Turns out it was just a side effect. Scary stuff.
