I've recently been prescribed Calcipotriene 0.005% Cream 60gm for my psoriasis and was wondering if anyone else has tried this medication. It's supposed to help with the overgrowth of skin cells and reduce redness and scaling. Has anyone experienced any side effects like dry skin, burning, or irritation at the application site? I'm a bit anxious about the potential for allergic reactions or high calcium levels. How bad can the side effects be? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Any tips on how to use it effectively or what to expect?

Just started using this and my skin feels like it’s on fire. Is this normal, or should I be worried?

Be careful with this stuff. I had a really bad reaction the first time I used it. My skin got all red and swollen, and I had trouble breathing. Turns out, I had an allergic reaction.

I switched to Calcipotriene from another topical treatment, and it's been way better for me. I still get some burning and tingling when I first apply it, but it goes away quickly. Just make sure to avoid getting it on your eyes or mouth!

Has anyone tried mixing it with other topical treatments? I was thinking of combining it with a steroid cream. Any tips or warnings?

I've been using Calcipotriene for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer. My psoriasis has significantly improved, but I did experience some dry skin and peeling at first.

I've been using Calcipotriene for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer. My psoriasis has significantly improved, but I did experience some dry skin and peeling at first. I found that applying a moisturizer right after the cream helps a lot.

I was worried about the high calcium levels, but my doctor said as long as I use it as directed, I should be fine. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully.
