I've just started using Clobetasol 0.05% Shampoo to treat my psoriasis and was wondering if anyone else here has used it. I've been applying it exactly as prescribed, but I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. The possible side effects to seek medical attention for immediately are pretty scary. Has anyone had any of those experiences? Also, what about the more common side effects like burning or dry skin? Are they manageable? Any tips or tricks for dealing with them? How long should I expect to use this before seeing results? Really appreciate any insights or advice you can give!

Be careful with this stuff. My friend had some pretty bad side effects like severe headaches and fatigue. I think it's best to stick to the shortest treatment duration possible.

I got a lot of burning and redness at first, but it went away after a week. Just be patient and keep using it as directed. Also, be careful with your eyes—it stings like crazy if you get it in there. And don’t forget to wash your hands thoroughly after application to avoid any unwanted skin changes.

I got some irritation at the site of application, but it was manageable. It was a bit uncomfortable, but nothing I couldn’t handle. If you experience serious side effects, though, definitely contact your doctor right away.

I used this for a couple of months and it worked wonders for my scalp psoriasis. Just make sure to follow the instructions closely. I didn’t experience any serious side effects, but I did have some dryness and stinging. Using a gentle moisturizer helped a lot.

Don’t scare yourself with the long list of side effects. If you’re experiencing something serious, you’ll know it. Stick to the treatment as prescribed, and you’ll be fine. It’s annoying that it’s so potent it can cause issues, but it’s powerful and works well for psoriasis.

Has anyone else had issues with the thinning of the skin? I noticed mine felt a bit more delicate after a few weeks, but it seemed to go back to normal after I stopped.

This stuff is a lifesaver, literally. After two weeks, the itching and flaking were almost gone. Just be cautious and follow the instructions to a T. You should see results in a couple of weeks, but not everyone is the same. If you don’t, talk to your doctor.

Try not to worry; the side effects are rare and manageable. If you follow the instructions and talk to your doctor regularly, you should be fine. I had a little bit of hair loss in the first few weeks, but it grew back after I stopped using it. Maybe avoid this shampoo if you're already going through hair loss issues.

Don't worry too much about the rare side effects. I've been on it for a few weeks and haven't had any issues. Just keep an eye out for anything unusual and talk to your doctor if you're concerned. Remember, it's important to use it as prescribed—no more, no less. I'd say stick with it, you'll likely see improvements in a few weeks.

I’m so scared of the serious side effects. Like, what if I don’t notice the symptoms in time? Should I be constantly checking for signs of high blood sugar? It’s all so overwhelming.
