I've been prescribed Tobramycin/dexamethasone Susp 10ml eye drops for an eye infection and inflammation. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects. I'm scared I would lose my vision if something went wrong. I know it's rare, but it's also serious. Has anyone else had this prescription? What was your experience like? Did you have any side effects to deal with, or did it all go smoothly?

I had some itching, but it was minor. I just used some cool compresses to feel better. Just be sure you're following the instructions correctly and you should be fine.

I didn't have any side effects, but I did feel better within a couple of days. As annoying as it was, the drops really helped with the infection.

Is this the same stuff they use for dogs? My vet gave my dog something like this when he had an eye problem.

I had blurred vision for a couple of days, but it went away. It was uncomfortable but manageable.

I had a bad reaction to the steroid component. I had swelling in my eyelids and it was quite scary. I had to stop using them and switch to something else.

I had some eye irritation, but nothing major, but I didn't get the other side effects mentioned. Don't worry too much, just follow the instructions carefully.

I used these drops last year and had no issues. I got a bad infection and a swollen eye. It cleared up after a few days.

These drops are strong. You've gotta be careful. I've heard it can mess with your eyesight if you're not careful.

I had a friend who had a severe allergic reaction. She ended up in the hospital. It's rare, but it can happen. Be careful and watch out for any signs of a bad reaction.
