Anyone experiencing changes in their eyelashes or eyelids using Lumigan 0.01%?
I've been using Lumigan 0.01% eye drops for about 3 months now to manage my ocular hypertension, and I've noticed some significant changes in my eyelashes and eyelids. They've become darker, thicker and grown more than usual. I'm not sure if this is a common side effect or if I'm just more sensitive to the medication. I've also heard that some people experience darkening of their eyelids. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Should I be concerned about these changes, or are they just temporary? My doctor didn't mention these side effects, so I'm a bit worried. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've had some eye irritation and a bit of dryness, but nothing too bad. I've also noticed some changes in my eyelashes, how could you not? It's like having a permanent set of false lashes. It's actually kind of nice, but I do have to trim them occasionally. I just wish the drops didn't sting so much when I put them in.
I've had the opposite problem. My eyelashes have gotten thinner and I've noticed more eye irritation than anything. I guess we all react differently to medication
I mean, if the worst side effect is having thicker eyelashes, I'll take it. At least it's not some crazy eye infection or something. Still, it's good to know about these changes ahead of time.
I was really freaked out when I saw my eyelids getting darker. I thought it was some weird skin condition. My doctor said it's just a side effect and it should fade after stopping the medication. It's still a bit unsettling, though.
I've been using Lumigan for a year now and my eyelashes are still darkening. My eyelids are a bit darker than my natural skin tone now. I think it would be nice if my doctor had mentioned these side effects, but I don't think it's too bad. I've got a new look!
I've been using Lumigan for months now, but I haven't really noticed any changes in my eyelashes or eyelids. I have noticed some eye irritation, but it's not too bad. I'm just glad the drops are helping with the eye pressure!
