I'm just starting to use Clinolipid 20% 0.2g/1ml IV Fat Emulsion Injection, 250ml. It's great that it provides essential fats and calories when you can't get enough nutrition by eating or through a feeding tube, but I'm a bit worried about the side effects. Has anyone had any issues with it? I'm particularly concerned about the serious side effects like pancreatitis, liver problems, or allergic reactions. Has anyone experienced anything like that? What can you do to prevent and manage these issues? Also, anyone knows good resources or tips on how to use this medication effectively and what to expect?

I was on this for a while after my surgery. The nausea was pretty bad at first, but it got better after a few days. Just make sure to take it slow and listen to your body.

I've always wondered, do the benefits of Clinolipid outweigh the risks for most patients? It's a tough call, but with proper management and monitoring, it can be a great solution for those who can't get enough nutrition through normal means.

I think the key to managing side effects is close monitoring and communication with your healthcare team. Make sure you're reporting any changes in your health, no matter how small. Also, staying hydrated can help prevent some of the complications. Best of luck! 😊

I've heard that some people have issues with the injection site. Make sure to clean the area properly and watch for any signs of irritation or infection.
