Anyone had experience with Vitamin B6 injections (Pyridoxine 100mg/ml Inj 1ml Vial)? How did it go for you?
I've been prescribed Pyridoxine injections to prevent nerve damage from a medication I'm taking. I've read that it's important for many bodily functions, but I'm curious to hear from others who have had experience with these injections. Did you notice any side effects? Were they mild or severe? I am particularly worried about that allergic reaction symptoms, so if anyone had that, I would love to hear how it was handled. How did your doctor monitor these during treatment? Would really appreciate any insights or tips from anyone who can share their story. Thank you!

I was a bit nervous about the injections, but my doctor said it's actually pretty common. It's used to treat all sorts of things, so don't stress about the side effects too much. Just keep an eye out and if you're feeling uncomfortable, call your doctor.
I've never heard of anyone needing to call 911 over a reaction, but it is possible, so keep an eye out. And if you start getting a rash or hives, let the doctor know.
I've heard that some people experience feeling sleepy after the injection. I did at first, but it wore off after a few doses. Definitely discuss any concerns with your doctor, they'll be able to give you the best advice for your situation.
I am a pharmacist and I see this all the time. Remember not to double up (take more than prescribed). Sometimes never side effects. I always tell people to consult their doctor if they have any questions.
I had a nurse come to the house and give me the shot. I was a little freaked out, but she was super nice and made it a lot easier. The whole thing only took a few minutes.
