My doctor prescribed Apraclonidine 0.5% Ophth Sol Eye Drops to help manage my intraocular pressure before a cataract surgery. I am somewhat concerned about the side effects but I trust my doctor. I am wondering if anyone else has used this medication. How did it work for you? What should I expect? I am a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the ones that require immediate medical attention. Thanks

I had a friend who used these and they helped a lot with her eye pressure. But she had to stop because of the dry eyes. It's going to be different for everyone, you should just keep this in mind.

I used these drops for a while and they worked great for me. Only side effect I had was a bit of dizziness but it went away after a few days. Seems like it's different for everyone.

I had no idea these drops could cause blurred vision. I almost had an accident while driving because of it. Scary stuff.

I think these drops are amazing. They've really helped control my eye pressure and I've had minimal side effects. Just be sure to keep it out of reach of kids and pets, especially if you are a bit forgetful. I keep mine in a locked drawer at all times.

I had a crazy reaction to these drops. My eyes were super irritated and I had a lot of discharge. It turned out I was allergic. So if you start feeling weird, stop using them and talk to your doctor.

I had an allergic reaction to it and had to stop. But the doctor said it was working for the glaucoma so I was ok to switch to something else. You have to do whatever is safe for you.

Just be careful not to touch the bottle tip to your eye or anything else. It can contaminate the solution and cause an infection. It happened to me once and it was a nightmare.
