I'm currently going through IVF and my doctor prescribed Cetrorelix 0.25mg Vial For Inj Kit. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the rare but serious ones like ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). Has anyone else used this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. What were the side effects like? How did you manage them? Did it ultimately help with the IVF process? Also, who do I contact if I have any side effects, and what should I do?

Anyone else feel like they're just a pin cushion during IVF? All these injections are rough. Hang in there, everyone! Our bodies can take it.

I had a really rough time with Cetrorelix. I experienced severe dizziness and fainting spells. I had to stop the medication because it was too much for me to handle. My doctor switched me to another protocol, and I was able to complete the IVF cycle successfully. I remember that I had to report my side effects to FDA too. However, it was a stressful experience, and I wish I had known more about the potential side effects before starting.

I'm currently on my second round of IVF and using Cetrorelix again. First time I used it, I had some ups and downs, but this time it seems to be going better. My doctor monitored me closely for OHSS, and thankfully, I didn't develop it. I would recommend asking your doctor about the signs to look out for and what to do if you experience them.

I'm on day 5 of Cetrorelix and so far, so good. No major side effects, just a little redness at the injection site. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Also, make sure to drink lots of water and rest as much as you can. It really helps.

I'm actually a nurse and I've seen a few patients with Cetrorelix complications. The key is close monitoring by your healthcare team. Regular ultrasounds and blood tests can help catch OHSS early. Trust your doctor to make the right decisions for you. They will do everything in their power to help you. Also, if you experience any symptoms like rash, hives or swelling, stop immediately and seek help. Don't wait for it to get worse.

I didn't have any major issues with Cetrorelix. I had some injection site reactions, but they were pretty mild. The biggest challenge for me was the cost. Make sure you check if your insurance covers it. One thing to keep in mind is that you should avoid activities that could lead to an accidental pregnancy while on this medication. And always have an emergency plan in case you experience swelling, nausea, or severe stomach pain.

I've had two successful IVF cycles with Cetrorelix. No major side effects, just some mild headaches. I think it's a great medication if you're closely monitored. It's important to discuss side effects with your doctor and get the right advise. Hang in there, you can do this!

Cetrorelix saved my IVF cycle. I was at high risk of ovulating early, and this medication prevented that from happening. I had some headaches and upset stomach, but it was totally worth it. The eggs were perfectly timed for retrieval. Wishing everyone going through this good luck, it's been a hard journey for me and it can be hard to stay positive. Especially for people like me who are old and have issues with fertility.
