I was prescribed Flurbiprofen 100mg tablets for my arthritis. I've heard it can help with pain and inflammation, but I'm worried about the side effects. Should I be worried about serious side effects like kidney problems or high blood pressure? Has anyone else experienced any of these issues? Also, what are some of the more common side effects I should watch out for? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Never experienced any serious side effects. I just got some minor dizziness on and off, maybe 2-3 times a week. Plus my friend who is a doctor told me it has caused some kidney problems in rare cases. Be cautious!

My dad took Flurbiprofen and had some issues with high blood pressure. He stopped taking it and went back to Naproxen instead.

If you're worried about side effects, maybe talk to your doctor about starting with a lower dose or switching to a different NSAID. I've heard Celebrex can be easier on the stomach but might have different side effects.

I switched to Flurbiprofen from Ibuprofen because the side effects were less. I've had none of the serious side effects, but I did get a headache the first few days. Just make sure you never exceed the prescribed dose and talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.

I've had no issues with Flurbiprofen so far. It's been a good alternative to Ibuprofen for me.

This stuff is a lifesaver for my menstrual cramps. I take it when things get really bad, and it knocks the pain out for hours. The only thing I've noticed is mild stomach discomfort, but it's totally worth it. Plus, I've never had a problem with it before on my stomach.

I've had some issues with stomach pain and drowsiness, but nothing too bad. I like that it helps with the inflammation in my joints, but I might switch to something else if the side effects get worse.

Flurbiprofen can be pretty tough on the stomach, so consider taking a proton pump inhibitor or antacid with it. Also, stay hydrated and avoid alcohol to minimize side effects.
