Anyone have experience with Ionil-T 1% Shampoo for psoriasis?
I've been struggling with psoriasis for years and my doctor recently prescribed Ionil-T 1% Shampoo. I've heard mixed reviews about it. Some people say it's a lifesaver, while others complain about the smell and potential side effects. Has anyone used this shampoo? What were your results? Any tips on how to make it more effective or to deal with the side effects? I'm really hoping this works, but I'm also a bit nervous about the possible allergic reactions.

I've been using it for a while now and I haven't had any issues, but my sister had this itching and redness...
I've read that coal tar can cause hair loss. Has anyone experienced this?
I switched to a different shampoo because of the side effects. I had a slight allergic reaction it didn't help so I switched to a different one and my psoriasis and dandruff are gone. I can't vouch for the results but I know it was horrible for my scalp.
I used this shampoo for a few months and it really helped with the flaking and itching. The smell is pretty strong, but it’s worth it if it helps with your psoriasis, I'd say. I found that using a conditioner after it helped to reduce the dryness cause it did make my hair a bit dry. Just make sure to give your scalp enough time to absorb the shampoo and then rinse thoroughly.
