I've been prescribed Lurasidone 40mg Tablets for my bipolar depression and was wondering if anyone else has experience with this medication. I know it's used to treat schizophrenia as well, but I'm focusing on its effectiveness for bipolar depression. The side effects list is a bit daunting, so I'd love to hear from anyone who has taken it and can share their experience. How did you handle the side effects? Did you notice any significant improvements in your symptoms? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Feeling jittery is normal at first, but it goes away after a few weeks. Stick with it and see how it goes.

I wish I knew more about the side effects before starting it. Make sure to read the list carefully and talk to your doc. It can be scary if you don't know what to expect.

I think the most important thing is to stay in touch with your doctor. They can help you navigate the side effects and adjust your dose if needed.

I gained like 10 lbs in the first month. Be ready for that. But it's worth it if it helps you feel better.

I was really worried about the potential weight gain, but thankfully, I didn't experience that. Just be prepared for some initial discomfort and give your body time to adjust.

Be careful with the food intake. I had a really tough start because I wasn't eating enough with the pills. Take it easy and don't get discouraged if it doesn't work right away.

I had a bad reaction to it. Got really bad tremors and had to stop taking it. Might not be for everyone.

I know someone who had to switch to a different med, but it really helped me with my bipolar depression. Just took some time to adjust.

How long did it take for you to notice improvements?

I've been on Lurasidone for about a year now. It's been a game-changer for my bipolar depression, but the first few weeks were rough with the side effects. Dizziness and tiredness were the worst for me.
