I'm scheduled to have an MRI soon and my doctor mentioned they'll use Multihance Solution to get a clearer view. The nurse listed off some serious side effects, and I have to admit I'm feeling a bit uneasy. Has anyone had experience with this stuff? I'm looking for firsthand experiences, especially about any side effects. I'm not sure if I should be worried or if it's all standard procedure. Multihance is a contrast agent which can cause kidney problems. If you have existing kidney issues, talk to your doctor. They might suggest alternative imaging. Fluid intake pre and post-procedure is essential. To reduce the risk, Don't skip the pre-MRI hydration instructions!
