I recently had a root canal, and my dentist used Sensorcaine-Mpf 0.25%/epi Inj, 10ml for the local anesthetic. It worked great, but I’m curious about others' experiences with this medication. What were the side effects like? Did anyone experience any of the serious side effects listed? I’m also wondering how common it is for this to be used in dental procedures versus surgeries. My dentist said it’s commonly used in dental procedures because it’s reliable and effective. Just make sure to follow the instructions for aftercare and you should be fine.
I had it for a wisdom tooth extraction. It numbed the area perfectly, and I only felt a bit dizzy. No serious side effects, thankfully.
I’ve had it a few times and never experienced any serious side effects, just a bit of numbness that lasted a while. Always make sure to listen to your dentist’s instructions after the procedure, though.
I got chills and felt really cold after my procedure. Thought I was dying for a minute, but the nurse said that’s a common side effect. Still not fun though.
I had it for a minor surgery, and it worked perfectly. No side effects at all. My doctor said it’s one of the best local anesthetics out there.
I’ve had it used in some surgeries, it works well, but it can be a bit tough to recover from if you're not expecting it. Keep your doctor informed of any other meds you're taking as well – can affect things.
I've never had it, mostly lidocaine. But I'd expect similar results. Commonly used in dentistry, so your dentist probably knows what they're doing.
