I was prescribed Zemdri 500mg/10ml Inj for a serious urinary tract infection that my doctor said was resistant to other antibiotics. Has anyone else had to use this? I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the kidney problems and hearing loss. How did you handle the treatment and what was your experience?

I was put on Zemdri for a UTI last year and it was intense. Make sure you stay hydrated and monitor your urine output closely. The side effects were manageable, but I did experience some dizziness.

I had to take Zemdri for a multidrug-resistant UTI. The hospital staff monitored my kidney function closely, and I had regular check-ups. It was stressful, but the infection cleared up. I was relieved when it was over— and when I didn't experience any hearing loss, too. Stay strong!

I had a friend who had to take Zemdri and they ended up staying in the hospital for monitoring the whole treatment period. It’s a strong drug, so you might want to prepare for that. I’m glad it's not me! Just kidding, I feel for you. Stay strong!

I had to use Zemdri for a severe UTI as well. The doctors explained that it's a last-resort antibiotic because it's so powerful. My kidney function was monitored constantly, and I didn't experience any severe side effects, thankfully. Stick to the treatment plan and keep in close contact with your doctor.
