I switched to ziprasidone from a different medication and I feel so much better! The side effects were rough at first, but they've subsided. Just make sure to talk to your doctor about any issues you have. They'll help you make the best decision.
I had some crazy dizziness at the start, but it stabilized after a couple weeks. No more dizziness, but now my blood sugar seems to be a bit off. I've been keeping an eye on it and consulting with my doctor regularly. I've also been doing a lot of research on diabetes and mental health. It's scary stuff, but I feel like I'm taking better care of myself now!
I was prescribed Ziprasidone HCl 80mg Capsules for schizoaffective disorder. It helped with keeping my mood more stable, but I had a lot of weight gain. My doctor suggested switching up my diet and exercise routine which helped. It's been a rough ride, but I'm glad I stuck with it.
