Hi everyone, I was recently prescribed Phenelzine Sulfate 15mg Tablets for depression. My doctor said it's a bit different from other antidepressants I've tried, and it's important to follow a strict diet and avoid certain medications. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the serious ones. Has anyone else had experience with this? I'd love to hear some firsthand accounts and any tips you have for managing the side effects. Thanks!

I was on it for a while, but the side effects were too much for me. I had some really bad headaches and dizziness. It might be worth talking to your doctor about lowering the dosage if it gets too tough.

I’ve had some weird side effects, like excessive sweating and dilated pupils. It’s a bit scary, but my doctor said it’s normal. Just make sure you’re tracking everything you eat and drink!

I've heard some people say their doctor recommended Phenelzine as a last resort, and it worked out for them. It's definitely worth asking your doctor why they think this will work for you.

I've been on Phenelzine for over a year now, and I've never felt better. It's worth the stricter diet and avoiding certain meds. I'm so glad I gave it a shot!

Keep in mind, it's an MAO inhibitor, so you have to be extra careful with what you eat and drink. No aged cheeses, cured meats, or fermented foods. It's tough, but worth it if it helps with the depression.

Did you know you can't even have aged cheese, wine, or things with tyramine? It's really strict, but if you plan it out, you can manage it.

I've been on Phenelzine for a few months now, and honestly, it's been a game-changer for me. It did take some time to adjust to the strict diet, but my doctor was great at helping me figure it out. Stick with it, you'll see the benefits!

If you plan on drinking, forget about it. Because of the strict diet, I can never drink anything. It's annoying, but I feel so much better because of this.

I remember the first few days were rough. I had trouble sleeping and was really fatigued. But after a week, I started to feel a lot better. Hang in there! I think your body is fine adjusting!
