Anyone here used Mometasone 0.1% Cream for eczema or psoriasis? Share your experiences!
I've recently been prescribed Mometasone 0.1% Cream 15gm for my eczema. I've heard it can be really effective, but I'm also a bit worried about the potential side effects. Has anyone else used this cream? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. What were the results like? Did you encounter any side effects? How long did it take to see improvements? Be careful with this stuff. I ended up with some thinning of the skin on my elbows. It's not worth the risk for me.
I had horrible side effects and they lasted for weeks. I would recommend talking to your doctor about alternatives.
I had some burning sensations at first, but it went away after a few days. Stick it out if you can, it might be worth it.
I've had mixed results. Sometimes it works wonders, other times not so much. Keep trying different things until you find your best solution.
Did anyone experience any vision changes? My doc mentioned it might happen, but I can't find much on it online.
I've used it for a few weeks now and it's been a lifesaver. My eczema flare-ups have decreased significantly. Just make sure to use a thin layer as directed.
I think it's great! I wish I had started using it sooner.
