I was recently prescribed Quetiapine ER 300mg for treating bipolar disorder. Anyone else taking this medication? What has your experience been like? I'm curious about the side effects and how long it takes to see benefits. I'm also interested in hearing if anyone has tried both the immediate and extended release forms. I've been on it for a week and it seems to cause a lot of drowsiness, I'm on the fence if this is manageable or not.

I've been on Quetiapine ER for about a year now and I've had no issues with it. I did experience some drowsiness at first, but that went away after a couple of weeks. My mental health has improved greatly since starting this medication, and surprisingly drowsiness in the morning is not one of them!

I've been on Quetiapine ER for a while and I've noticed that my vision gets a bit blurry sometimes. It's not constant, but it's something to keep an eye on. No pun intended!

Honestly, Quetiapine ER has been a lifesaver for me. I was on the immediate-release form before and it was a nightmare. The extended-release form has made such a huge difference in my quality of life. I would recommend talking to your doctor about it because some of the side effects of Quetiapine ER are serious and you need to be in a good position to talk to your doctor about them.

I've been on Quetiapine ER for about 6 months now and it's been a game-changer for my mood stability. I did experience some drowsiness initially, but it subsided after a few weeks. Definitely worth sticking it out if you can.

I actually found that Quetiapine ER helped with my insomnia, which was a huge bonus. The drowsiness was annoying at first, but now I take it before bed and it works out pretty well.

If you have a family history of thyroid issues, you should definitely talk to your doctor before starting Quetiapine ER. I had no idea it could affect my thyroid levels and it ended up causing some serious problems for me.

I think the worst part about it is the weight gain. I've gained 20 pounds in the last 3 months and it's been really hard to deal with. Anyone else experiencing this?
