Anyone on Zovia 1/35 Tablets? Share your experiences, good or bad
I've been prescribed Zovia 1/35 Tablets 28s for birth control and I'm a bit nervous. I've read about the possible side effects and I'm not sure what to expect. Has anyone else taken this and if so, what was your experience like? I'm looking for both positive and negative feedback to really get a sense of what I might encounter. What is your opinion about the pill in general? Thank you!

I’ve been on Zovia for a few years now and it’s been pretty good. My periods are lighter and more regular, which is a huge plus for me. I didn’t have any serious side effects, just some light spotting in the beginning. I also had some weight gain but I think that was more from the general lack of attention to my food habits and exercise. Fingers crossed it stays this way
I had no idea birth control pills could cause such serious side effects. I’ve been on the pill for a while and never really thought about the risks. I’m going to talk to my doctor about switching to a non-hormonal method.
I've been on Zovia for about 6 months now and I've had no problems so far. I had some nausea in the first few weeks but it went away quickly. I'm happy with it so far but I will keep an eye out for any serious side effects. Also, did anyone else notice changes in their periods after switching to it?
I've tried a lot of different birth control pills and Zovia is one of the better ones I've taken. The side effects are manageable and it does what it's supposed to do. I have to admit, it's lucky I didn't have any major side effects of the pill. Seriously, if anyone else had major problems with it, please share your experiences
I had a bad experience with Zovia. I developed really bad migraines and my doctor had to switch me to a different pill. The really scary part was that I had a few symptoms of a blood clot, like swelling in my leg and shortness of breath, but it turned out to be nothing. I’m glad I listened to my body and went to the doctor.
I had to stop taking Zovia because it gave me terrible mood swings and depression. I didn’t realize these side effects and thought it was normal but I am thankful to my sister who noticed I was more moodier and suggested I spoke to a doctor. Totally not worth it for me and I’m looking at different options right now.
I've been on Zovia for about a year and it's been great! I had a few issues in the beginning, like light spotting between periods but my doctor said it was normal. Not really sure what I would recommend though if you'd get it. My friends took their doctors' advice and it turned out great for them.
I started Zovia after Ortho-Tricyclen made me gain weight. I just wanted to lose some extra pounds that I had gained during the pandemic and it helped a lot. I also noticed less bloating and I felt more energetic overall.
I’m curious about the acne side effect. I’ve heard it can help clear up skin for some people. Has anyone noticed a change in their skin since starting Zovia? I myself saw my acne disappear during my initial months.
I switched to Zovia from another brand because I was having terrible mood swings. I wish more people talked about the emotional side effects of birth control. The only issue I have now is that it makes my breasts sore. It’s like getting hit in the chest. But overall, it’s a huge improvement for me. I have had hormone imbalance for years and this has helped me regulate everything.
