I was recently prescribed Fluoxetine 60mg tablets and I'm curious to hear from others who have experience or knowledge about this medication. It seems like there are a lot of severe side effects listed, but I'm not sure if they're common or rare. I've been really anxious about starting this medication, especially with all the warnings about serotonin syndrome and abnormal heartbeats. But there are also a lot of positive reviews when it comes to treating depression and anxiety. My doctor was very confident that it could help me, but I can't shake off the feeling of fear. Does anyone know if the side effects are common, and can anyone share their experience with Fluoxetine? How did you handle the possible side effects and did you notice any improvements in your condition? Thanks for sharing your stories!

I had a pretty rough time with Fluoxetine. I experienced a lot of the side effects listed, and they were really hard to deal with. I ended up switching to a different medication, but it was a tough decision because I was scared of the withdrawal symptoms and it took a lot to find the right dosage for me. Does anyone have advice on how to balance getting the benefits and preventing the side effects?

I found that taking Fluoxetine with food helped a lot with the upset stomach. Also, make sure to talk to your doctor about any other medications you're taking, as there can be interactions. I had to switch from a different antidepressant to Fluoxetine, and it took some adjusting, but overall it's been worth it.

I've been on Fluoxetine for about a year now, and it's been a game-changer for my anxiety. I did experience some side effects at the beginning, like nausea and headaches, but they went away after a few weeks. It's important to stick with it if you can, because it can take a while to feel the full effects. Good luck!

Serotonin syndrome is no joke. I had a friend who ended up in the hospital because of it. Make sure you're not taking any other medications that could interact with Fluoxetine. It’s crucial to be honest with your doctor about everything you’re taking.

I've had some issues with sexual side effects on Fluoxetine. It's a common side effect, but it's something to be aware of. Have you talked to your doctor about this? It's worth discussing if it becomes an issue..
