I was prescribed Isoptin SR 120mg Tablets by my doctor to manage my high blood pressure and angina. It helps relax blood vessels and slows down the heart rate. I'm taking it as instructed, and has been helping with chest pain. There are some serious side effects so my doctor wants me to be vigilant. I'm looking for others who have had their heart rate slowing down to help me know what to expect. Has anyone else tried this medication? how is the medication going for you? What precautions have you taken to avoid side effects? Let's discuss!

I've been on Isoptin for a while now, and it's been a game-changer for my angina. No more chest pain! I did experience some dizziness at first, but it went away after a few weeks. Just make sure to stay hydrated and listen to your body.

My doctor suggested Isoptin as I couldn't handle my blood pressure medication. It's been a long road but it's working! Be careful with these meds though.

I tried Isoptin for a few weeks, but the constipation was just too much. I switched to another medication and haven't looked back. It's all about what works best for you, so don't be afraid to talk to your doctor if you're not happy with Isoptin.

I experienced a bit of dizziness and a slower heart rate when I first started. It went away after a few days and hasn't been an issue since. I recommend people stay calm, get a good night sleep, and drink plenty of water when they first start taking these.

I've had to go to the emergency room twice because of shortness of breath and swelling in my legs. They think the Isoptin was too strong for me and they lowered my dose. I'm happy they caught that before it got worse.
