I've been dealing with eczema for a while now, and my doctor prescribed Hydrocortisone 0.1% Cream. I've been using it for a few days, but I'm not sure if it's working yet. How long did it take for you all to see improvements? Also, have any of you experienced any side effects like burning, stinging, or dryness? I've heard that some people do. Any tips for dealing with the stuff?

If you're having some burning when applying it, try applying a little moisturizer on top of it. It helps a lot. I think it even sped up my healing time.

I used it for a week and saw some improvement, but it was pretty mild. Stick with it for at least two weeks if you can. Burned a little at first but it went away.

For me, the side effects were so bad, I'd rather deal with the itching. I would've given it a higher upvote, but I'd rather not deal with those side effects.

I actually found that Hydrocortisone made my eczema worse. I had some swelling and really bad redness. It might just be me, but I'd keep an eye out for those signs.

Hydrocortisone 0.1% is a miracle. I used it and got immediate relief. Unfortunately, it made my skin burn and itch more than the eczema, so I stopped.

Does anyone else feel like this stuff is a bit too harsh for long-term use? I'm trying to wean myself off it.

I've been using it for a month now and it's been a game-changer. No side effects, either. Just make sure to apply it as directed and give it some time.

For me, it took about 4 days for the redness and itching to go down. But I had some burning and stinging in the first few days. With time it went away.
