I've got an MRI coming up and I heard the doctor mention Gadavist. Has anyone here had an experience with it? What was it like? Did you have any side effects? I've read the usual info but I'd love to hear from someone who's actually gone through it. I'm a bit nervous about the whole process, especially if there's a chance of side effects. How did you handle that? Thanks for any and all insights!

I've had Gadavist for a brain MRI and a spine MRI. No issues either time. Just follow the doc's instructions and you'll be fine. Eat a big breakfast before too, helps with energy during the wait it took for me.

I felt a warmth sensation where they injected it, but that was it. No big deal, really. I had an MRI with Gadavist a few years back. I didn't have any major side effects, just a bit of that feeling of warmth and coldness at the injection site.

If you're feeling any unusual symptoms or side effects, don't wait to see if they go away. Better safe than sorry, plus MRI machines are expensive as hell and you don't want to pay for another one. In all honesty, I think the biggest side effect is the cost.

I had an MRI with Gadavist last year for a brain scan. It was a bit weird feeling the dye go in, but the scan itself was no big deal. I didn't have any side effects, just a bit of a metallic taste in my mouth for a few hours.
