Anyone with experience using Selenious AC 60mcg/ml Injectable? 10ml for prolonged selenium deficiency
I've recently been prescribed Selenious Acid Injection (10ml) for severe selenium deficiency. From what I've read, it sounds like a lifesaver since I'm currently unable to maintain proper nutritional intake through my diet. However, I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects, especially the ones that seem pretty serious like skin reactions and breathing difficulties. This stuff actually tastes like metal. It’s a bit funny to me, but it also shows how deeply it affects the body. Another big one is how much it supports your immune system. That’s huge in the long run.
Have you checked the nutrition charts to ensure you're not missing other important minerals? Sometimes balancing other nutrients helps mitigate some side effects. The rare life-threatening ones are still a concern, but with proper management and monitoring, they are easily handled.
Be patient with it. It took me a while to get used to it, but after a while, I got adjusted to it. Side effects are rare hence it's worth it, if you ask me. It balances your health really well.
I've used this for a friend who was in the same situation as you. They did experience some redness and pain around the injection site, but the doctors were able to manage it easily. Just make sure to inform them if you notice any discomfort.
Watch out for that vein irritation. My friend ended up having to switch IV sites because of it. Also, if you can, avoid stretching or any intense workout after your injection. It may cause pain around the injection site and could be uncomfortable.
My doctor told me to keep an eye on my skin for any reactions. I had a few hives but it disappeared after a day. Just give it a check regularly. Also, they gave me some cream to apply around injection sites. It really helped.
This stuff is a literal savior. I've been on it for quite a while and it has definitely improved my overall health. Make sure to follow the advice of doctors and nurses on how to inject it and you'll have a great experience with minimum to no side effects. Plus, it really supports my immune system during long hospital stays.
