I've been prescribed Niaspan 500mg ER Tablets to help improve my cholesterol levels. The doctor says it'll lower my 'bad' cholesterol (LDL and triglycerides) and raise my 'good' cholesterol (HDL). Good luck with your treatment. I'm sure that you will experience some relief from the chlosterol levels, although I would just stick to taking it with food and spending time outside to help manage side effects.
Has anyone else experienced dizziness or fainting? I had to stop taking it because it was so severe. Maybe it's just me, but it's worth a mention. I understand that the medication can cause dizziness but it's out of control.
