I've been using Asmanex Twisthaler 220mcg for a few months now to manage my asthma, and while it seems to help with my symptoms, I've been experiencing some side effects that are concerning me. I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences or can provide some insight. The instructions say it's for daily use to keep asthma under control, not for sudden attacks, but I'm curious about other people's regimens and how they manage it. I have been using a rescue inhaler when needed, but I'd like to hear from others about their experiences with Asmanex and any side effects they've dealt with. I've heard it can cause issues like headaches, throat irritation, and even more serious problems, which is why I'm looking to my fellow Redditors for advice and shared experiences.

I read that Asmanex can cause vision problems. I’m paranoid now that I see floaters, but I’ve had them for ages. Is anyone else dealing with this or have any tips?

I had really bad stomach pain and dizziness when I first started using Asmanex. It was so bad I thought I was having a heart attack. I’m glad I wasn’t but I wish I had known of these side effects before.

Same! Haven't had any major side effects either. I just stick to the daily routine and use my rescue inhaler if I need it. It's a bit pricey, but my insurance covers most of it.

I've had muscle pain and some vision issues since starting Asmanex. I’m not sure if it’s related, but it’s something to keep an eye on. Make sure to talk to your doctor if you notice anything unusual.

I've heard that bone and joint pain can be a side effect. Has anyone else experienced that?

I've been on Asmanex for a while and haven't had any serious side effects, but I did get a white patch in my mouth once. I haven't seen it since but have seen a lot of mouth soars, and I have no idea if it's related.
